In the heart of the Alps, Enlaps, a Grenoble-based startup founded in 2015, is reinventing image capture and analysis!

Indeed, Enlaps develops and markets an innovative solution, unique on the market intended for the creation and sharing of content (time lapse videos, photos ...) for professionals and individuals.

The solution offers a unique, immersive way of capturing: a magnificent sunset in the Maldives, the construction of an engineering structure in Paris, the making of the Grenoble Street Art Festival, the flow of a glacier in Patagonia, the seasons on a mountain landscape... in short, any event or phenomenon that can be captured on video. in short, any event or phenomenon whose evolution is not perceptible on a normal time scale!

Today, Enlaps is :

• 70% of sales generated internationally,  

• 20,000 Tikees cameras connected in 90 countries,  

• 20 million images processed every month on our myTikee cloud application!

The Enlaps team currently numbers over 30 people.

The position 💼

As part of its strong growth, Enlaps is looking for a Senior Backend Developer.

Within the development team, the Backend Developer works in close collaboration with the Frontend development teams, the DevOps team, and R&D engineers. They may also interact with design and product teams to understand functional and technical needs. Finally, they will interact with the support team for defect analysis operations.

The backend developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of the various backend services of the myTikee web application. They are responsible for developing features defined in the backlog by implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance technical solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the application.

Key responsabilities 💼

• Design and deliver: Develop, test, and maintain robust, high-performance backend features on our microservices (Python, Ruby, Rust).

• Ensure technical excellence: Proactively propose architecture choices, optimize platform performance, and ensure data security.

• Collaborate with other developers of the Enlaps solution (embedded development, R&D, mobile development, etc.) for overall product integration.

• Share knowledge (code and architecture reviews, pair programming, etc.) and actively participate in upskilling junior profiles.

• Actively participate in team rituals and their evolution as part of a continuous improvement approach.

• Innovate through AI: Drive the exploration and integration of AI tools (coding assistants, automation) to optimize our delivery pipeline and daily development work.

Profile and skills required 👨‍💼

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in backend development.

• Passionate about the latest web technologies, IoT, and innovation in general.

• Team player, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.

• Proactive in advocating for and adopting AI tools (Generative AI, coding assistants) to optimize the development chain and automate delivery processes.

• Passionate, curious, inventive, and highly dynamic.

• Interested in all aspects of web application development.

• Comfortable with written English.

• Attracted to startup culture and environment.

Appreciated skills ➕

• Interest/experience in testing (TDD, BDD)

• Skills in image and/or video processing

• Knowledge of JavaScript frontend frameworks (ReactJS, etc.)

• Knowledge of the photography and/or video industry

Terms and conditions 🏢

• Contract Type: Permanent contract (CDI)

• Location: Montbonnot-Saint-Martin, with remote work options

• Remuneration: Based on experience and skills, indicative range €50k–€60k gross annually

• Desired Start Date: As soon as possible
