How to make an attendance forecast for a tourist site?

During this project, we analyzed meteorological factors to enable us to regularly forecast the number of visitors at a creek within a national park in southern France.

Challenge

The goal was to predict visitor numbers, using this insight to inform tourists so they could schedule their trips to the site accordingly.

Solution

The initiative started with gathering data on visitor traffic to the national park: analyzed by computers which identified individuals from the images obtained.
