Capturing large resolution images and sending them through wireless networks raises a new challenge about the power consumption of the Tikee camera.

Let's address the first point straightforwardly: Tikee comes equipped with a substantial battery, with a capacity of 24Ah – nearly five times greater than your average smartphone. Have you ever wondered why Tikee feels a bit weighty? The answer lies in this powerful lithium-ion cell pack, known for its high energy density, great efficiency, and long cycle life.

Here comes the interesting part. Even with such a great capacity, it is not enough to cover long term projects taking thousands of pictures and sending them through wireless networks. That’s precisely why Tikee has an integrated solar panel, feeding the battery continuously. For optimum efficiency, direction and tilt are adjustable. Simply target the south!

This is great but we went further. To ensure optimal power efficiency of our camera, we made our own electronic design. And we did it ensuring power consumption of every single part was as low as possible.

And it's not just about components and design; it's about crafting an intelligent and harmonious system. So we’ve developed advanced algorithms to fully leverage the potential of our optimized hardware, balancing battery levels, network conditions, and user settings.

In our approach, image uploads are intelligently dispatched in batches, effectively minimizing the number of network connections. During intervals between batches, the network is seamlessly powered off for optimal energy conservation. Our adaptive interval mode takes charge when the battery reaches a low level, automatically adjusting capture frequency to extend operational life. Prioritizing the capture process over immediate transmission, we've implemented an Eco power mode. In this mode, the camera temporarily halts image transmission until we restore to a more favorable energy level. It's a strategic balance, ensuring both efficiency and performance in every aspect of our camera's operation.

Combining all those strategies guarantees that Tikee captures every moment without compromise.
