In the heart of the Alps, Enlaps, a Grenoble-based startup founded in 2015, is reinventing image capture and analysis!

Indeed, Enlaps develops and markets an innovative solution, unique on the market intended for the creation and sharing of content (time lapse videos, photos ...) for professionals and individuals.

The solution offers a unique, immersive way of capturing: a magnificent sunset in the Maldives, the construction of an engineering structure in Paris, the making of the Grenoble Street Art Festival, the flow of a glacier in Patagonia, the seasons on a mountain landscape... in short, any event or phenomenon that can be captured on video. in short, any event or phenomenon whose evolution is not perceptible on a normal time scale!

Today, Enlaps is :

• 70% of sales generated internationally,  

• 20,000 Tikees cameras connected in 90 countries,  

• 20 million images processed every month on our myTikee cloud application!

The Enlaps team currently numbers over 30 people.

The position 💼

As part of its rapid expansion, Enlaps is looking for an Embedded Systems Developer.

The Embedded Systems Developer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of Enlaps' embedded electronic systems. This includes the electronics and embedded software for the various cameras.

As part of the embedded systems team (3 people) and reporting to the Technical Director, he/she is supervised on a daily basis by the Engineering Manager and works closely with the R&D teams as well as the After-Sales, Sales and Marketing departments.

External contacts include electronic and software design offices, component manufacturers and suppliers, and certification offices.

Missions 💼

Main missions are as follows:

• Participation in the design of the next generation of products

• Development of new functionalities for enlaps products

• Development of drivers

• Implementation and development of functional test scenarios

• Analysis and diagnosis of faulty products

• Participation in the choice of specifications for future versions

Profile and skills required 👨‍💼

• 5 years' experience in embedded development on microcontrollers / microprocessors

• Passionate, curious, inventive and very dynamic

• Able to work alone and as part of a team, proactive

• Appetence for the latest web technologies, IoT and innovation in general

• Interested in all aspects of embedded development

• Good knowledge of English

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Makefile

• Ability to use the Git version manager

• Linux development environment

• Debugging methods (GDB)

• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)

• Knowledge of ARM cortex architectures

• Continuous integration methods

Valued additional skills

• Knowledge and experience in cyber-security analysis of embedded products

• Knowledge of BLE/LTE/WIFI protocols

• Knowledge of the RUST language

• Analysis of electronic schematics (design/layout) and hardware debugging

• Agile development methods

• Knowledge of the photography and/or video industry

Terms and conditions 🏢

• Type of contract: Permanent contract

• Location: Montbonnot-Saint-Martin + 1 remote working day per week

• Remuneration: Depending on experience and skills, indicative range €40-50K gross
