  1. Import Your Footage

If it isn't already a time-lapse, begin by accelerating it. Right-click the video layer, navigate to “Time,” then “Time Stretch.” Input a reduced percentage to quicken the clip. A smaller percentage correlates to faster footage. Pre-compose and apply "Posterize Time" from the "Time Stretch" menu by selecting a frame rate to finalize the time-lapse. If your footage is pre-time-lapsed, simply pre-compose the layer. Renaming the precomposed layer aids in later identification.


  1. Proceed to Blur Map
