Vade Group is a US-based company, specializing in providing real-time data from the curb. Their goal is to assist cities in managing parking spaces by using image capture and analysis.
Challenge
Truck monitoring can be challenging, as when trucks park side by side, they often conceal each other, making it very hard for algorithms to distinguish them separately.
Additional factors can complicate this identification, such as weather conditions, camera view angles, extensive areas to monitor, distortions in images, etc. The State of Florida was seeking to determine the number of available parking spots in their designated rest areas.

Solution
Following an initial deployment of 10 Tikee units, the solution has demonstrated its suitability, fulfilling the requirements in terms of self-sufficiency and high-quality imagery. 70 additional Tikee 3 PRO units were installed within only one month in the primary truck parking locations around Jacksonville.
Along with these installations, we provided tailored training for the Vade team to facilitate their management of our solution.
