How to make an attendance forecast of a touristic site?

During this project, we analyzed meteorological factors in order to be able to make regular forecasts on the number of visitors to a creek in a national park located in southern France.


Challenge

The idea was to be able to make predictions about the number of visitors, to use this information and communicate it to tourists so they could plan their visits to the site.

Solution

The project began with the recovery of data on the number of visitors to the national park: evaluated by computer which allowed the detection of people directly from the captured images.
